New Road Junction with Dark Lane

	This view from Dark Lane shows the angle that the it makes with New Road. .Like nearly all roads in Freshford they are both on the hillside. This junction is also virtually a crossroads as Crowe Lane is immediately on the right-hand side.

This view of the subsidence that has blocked the road also shows the remaining stone bank bulging. along its length. In fact nearly the whole bank is bulging and given the right conditions will fall into the lane.
